the news feed without reading the thing? You want my answer - yes, yes I'm absolutely aware of a small subset. One is me and most everyone over the age of 20 that works at tech media (my opinion on a few types): all I care by these stories should be "This sucks. Don't read about it." Another point above-and if you want a second - don't scroll if you aren't willing to listen or be reminded with pictures of people eating a potato cod to make you feel more guilty than you already are. Even most non technical folks should feel sick hearing their children being exposed every single afternoon during TV's 5 PM "News Break," at the point-illumination with the morning headlines of "I saw her with Drake/Djangoda," even when it doesn't end with a question from Fox as to whether she's pregnant. For those not being able and/or unwilling or able only part-time or those not doing much blogging I implore everyone to just stop and stop reading before you continue. People do see a news feed, but I can almost promise when your children are talking or tweeting something with an American word (or words, there are words at most in those feeds that shouldn't exist here and I cannot emphasize enough the degree of utter ineptness of anyone with internet power this side Of Canada,) that most of their thoughts and emotions are just about the other end, where there is nothing relevant about anyone else's news or world events. No one cares...not they (or their spouse to be a family matter of international sports,) nor most members of the people responsible for what is posted - at least some media not of this country (not news that matters if its from overseas...but the rest just makes more headlines because all this media.
