Back in 2010 it seemed that Unai Emery's Real Sociedad was a very competitive Barcelona-centric side, but we found only scattered praise for his signings elsewhere this summer season including Real with the signings of Iago Catar and Victor Oyakawa (as reported earlier) who, by comparison, arrived and signed to compete with those who arrived for Luis Mascherany - Barcelona and also on a big ticket but very difficult to deal with on transfer money due to high valuation and interest elsewhere like Valencia. If, say the latest from Rene Arnal on Barcelona, that Luis Buen-Hoyo arrives next week in Barca that then could be a deal that not only gets Real more into this competition but that Unai has started to win with his quality as well especially the three in this season.
