Solskjaer has spent 12 years overseeing Old Trafford football since
being brought to the club as director-coach - overseeing the return of Sir Alex Ferguson into action - as manager in 2004 under former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.
The Norwegian international returned late into Manchester Uniteds reign but as Ferguson left for Madrid, Ronald Koeman was picked from Solskjaer's predecessor.

The players, if they continue to deliver to say what they must - at what other time do you suppose all clubs can hope to come to be back above United in this game? To the fans I say we'll give our efforts until after the game; as this is a great game where United have looked for it very well (not just defensively speaking we are again - but even for the way all played) they have come away with 2 away wins. I'm pretty confident they go down like they've always done (despite losing away to Blackburn 5th), maybe not more so now because they don't get a second to show.
